ECOSUSTAINABILITY

PACKAGING

THE BEAUTIFUL IS ASSISTING THE GOOD

We wanted a basic, straightforward, and pure style for our bottles, exactly like our compositions. Furthermore, everything of the plastic we use has a second life: it is made completely of post-consumer recycled PET (a material that comes entirely from a separate collection of plastic waste).

Because we believe in a cleaner and healthier world.

PACKAGING THAT IS ECO-DESIRABLE: ECOLOGICAL, REUSABLE, AND TRAVEL-FRIENDLY.

The packaging of the Melting line items is unique in that it is small, travel-friendly, and constructed of 100% and indefinitely recyclable aluminum. The jar also contains a recycled and recyclable plastic container to help maintain the various formulas, withstand high temperatures, and avoid product contact. This allows you to give the jar a second life while also encouraging upcycling and creative reuse of resources. When done, the product can be utilized as a make-up remover pad holder or a spice jar, for example.

CARBON FOOTPRINT

We can calculate the exact quantity of CO2 emissions released during the life cycle of a product (creation/conversion/production/transport/consumption/end of life) using the "carbon footprint," a measurement that gives total greenhouse gas emissions in CO2e: this allows us to determine the actions and steps to take to reduce this footprint and the total number of CO2 emissions. However, there is a natural limit that we cannot cross. This is where the term "compensation" comes from, referring to the potential of offsetting our residual emissions that cannot be eliminated. A business process can be classified as "carbon neutral" in this manner. Our goal is to quantify our "carbon footprint" during the manufacturing process to organize all of the necessary procedures to further minimize it.

We have recently obtained the ISO 14064 Certification.

Eley is now proud to have become a zero-impact company, officially obtaining recognition as a Carbon Neutral Company.

ECOLOGICAL PLANT OIL

To execute all the necessary measures to minimize greenhouse gas emissions in manufacturing processes to a minimum, Eley is commencing the process to comply with the RSPO standard for plant oils and is dedicated to assessing its Carbon Footprint.

Eley adheres to the recommendations made by the certifying body, RSPO, when it comes to purchasing plant oils. RSPO advises combating the indiscriminate spread of palm oil, whose unchecked production is endangering significant rainforest areas as well as areas formerly designated for food cultivation. The RSPO standard calls for the use of certified and sustainable palm oil (CSPO), as opposed to the alternative, lower-yielding plant oils, whose cultivation might result in more soil use.

CERTIFICATION OF PRODUCTS

The complete All Care collection is manufactured with a high percentage of eco-friendly components, including emollients extracted organically, and is certified natural in accordance with Cosmos Natural criteria.

A certification standard called COSMOS NATURAL outlines the conditions that a cosmetic product must satisfy to be classified as natural.

The goal of Cosmos is to implement sustainable development concepts across the whole supply and manufacturing chain, from the choice of raw materials through the distribution of the final product. The consumer must be educated in a clear and transparent manner to take an active role in sustainable growth. Respect for the consumer is at the heart of the whole creativity and manufacturing process.

ELEY has received ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 22716 (GMP - Good Manufacturing Practices), and ISO 14064 (GHG - Greenhouse Gases) certifications. Through increased monitoring of the company's operations, we were able to improve our ability to satisfy some of our client’s most demanding expectations.

ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) (Quality Management System)

An ISO 9001 quality management system's goal is to make sure the product complies with predetermined standards. As a result, it shows that the business can consistently and comprehensively meet consumer expectations and that it will be able to greatly increase its efficiency in terms of product quality, organization, and production while reducing waste and preventing errors.

22716 (GMP – Good Manufacturing Practices)

The GMP are a set of regulations that describe the methods, equipment, resources, and management used to manufacture our final products to ensure that they adhere to the appropriate quality standards. These oversee both production and quality control, they apply to all cosmetic products, and they take into consideration all of the factors and activities that are involved in creating our cosmetic products.

ISO 14064 (GHG - Greenhouse Gases)

A collection of standards known as ISO 14064 is made up of guidelines for measuring, controlling, and certifying an organization's greenhouse gas emissions. With the help of this certification, we can keep the so-called greenhouse gases under control—even living things release small amounts of them—and move on with efforts aimed at reducing or eliminating them, especially in developing nations.
